Foursquare - Find Places to Eat, Drink, and Visit App Reviews

I challenge all tourists to buy a meal or two for the less fortunate! Mac & Cheese is amazing ... Atmosphere is awesome. Bartender Dave was so fun! Totally recommend this joint!!

Thought this app would allow you to add new venues and hole in the wall bars & restaurants to share with friends ... Nope! Not an option. App DELETED!

Great for quickly finding an outstanding restaurant nearby or bookmarking outings youve come across while using the app. I love creating folders of things to do. Makes going on dates effortless and fun! ... The one down fall was the separation of foursquare and swarm. It was easy to have it all in one app.

Too chaotic.... Too busy.. What happened to the CEO of Foursquare? Is he/she trying to destroy their app?? This is just getting worse... So sad

Useful and soo cool.. But if users can have communications like send privte msg it will be great .

Really useful if you travel, but also to find hidden gems near where you live! Love it!

The revamped design is definitely better than the old foursquare. Love everything except the rating system... Sometimes choosing out of three options is not enough. Also I cant customize the items on whats good here card when I start rating. Last thing, theres no easy way to give feedback.

Wont accept birthdate no matter what age I try register as. Always says "must be 13..."

I used this app few years ago, and I absolutely love it! And recently I downloaded this app again, and its horrible, I cant find nearby places and gps are not working, pls fix it

Im becoming more and more in love with Foursquares UX. It keeps things nice and simple for checking out the latest restaurants and Cafes in foreign cities. Keep it up!

I just deleted foursquare and swarm. The fun is gone swarm killed what foursquare could have been. Its so sad.

When Foursquare was independent, it was a five star app. But integrating with Swarm lost it a lot of credibility. Stickers, are for kids. I cant understand why Foursquare needs Swarm. They both do the same thing (although Swarm seems more geared for high school demographics, IMHO).

Fewer people are using this app, which tanks its relevance. Likely occuring because they split into two apps. Also a note on recommending Uber transit - Im ashamed Foursquare would support this company with all the charges against them. Stay safe people, take a cab instead!

Ive always found it difficult to find a central place to find things to do in my vicinity or when going to a new city. My wife and I were traveling across Canada and this app has been invaluable in finding great restaurants, things to do (museums, etc). I can even plan what to do in the next city were heading to and it will show me the top spots there to check out. Its so much better than Yelp in so many ways, but they also make a great team. I will say I found the Map/Directions difficult to see because the edge of it was faded into the name, so theres a few UI issues, but nothing crazy.

No active GPS in either Foursquare or Swarm. Maybe there is but it doesnt work and I use GPS daily on my iPhone6. Fix this or get off the Internet.

I have been using this app for years! It is honestly so AMAZING! I use it to find cool places to eat or even fun things to do! It never lets me down! SERIOUSLY DOWNLOAD IT GUYS!

Love that I can rate from my recent history very easily. Its still annoying that I need to switch between 4sq and swarm though.
