Foursquare - Find Places to Eat, Drink, and Visit App Reviews

I use FourSquare to determine where to go. Their evaluations are always enlightening and insightful! Ive use it when travelling in NYC and California, but also when we were in Jamaica, and use it daily in Toronto. Its helped me discover new spots even in my hometown.

I have used it in Boston, in Toronto and in my own little tourist town. Foursquare is the best.

Used many times and its been super helpful finding tasty new places.

Great to find anything in your area, but I especially love it for its curated recommendations thy provide based on your activity and visits.

I have found great new places to try and restaurants off the beaten path with this app. It has also contributed to some of the best meals I ever had and helped me find new mainstays I now regularly visit. It provides great efficient information on the go. It also helps with the typical "where do you want to go?" Couples discussion.

If you havent used Foursquare by now, youre missing out. I use it all the time when at home and traveling.

I made fun of a fellow traveler for recommending FourSquare, until I actually tried it out. Its clearly more popular internationally than Yelp - so the reviews have the benefit of more local tips.

4 square is one of the best apps for the business traveler. Hotel foods can start to all taste the same and a quick tap on the 4 Square app and the best places are at your fingertips with real life feedback that is right on the money square

it was a great app once before. but recently i noticed they hide some places even though its the highest ranking perfect fit place nearby just because of some reasons not hard to guess what. i searched the burger joints near by and it didnt show me the best place right near me and then i searched in the app with the name of the place and apparently it has the highest ranking. not cool. dont recommend it

This app is very handy when trying to find things like restaurant menus, and information about various sites in different cities. Please keep up the good work.

This up is updated all the time with the latest information from real users and people whore physically in these different locations. You get there and everything is exactly what the app said!

This has all of the restaurants that are actually close to my home and truly local for me. Many of the other apps start listing places in the Pittsburgh area which is about 35-40 miles away and in the city with heavy, confusing traffic! Although most of the other apps needed to be fine tuned to find truly local places in my area, Foursquare did not. My time is valuable to me and it is very useful to be able to instantly "cut to the chase" and not spend a lot of time trying to find someplace close and good.
