Foursquare - Find Places to Eat, Drink, and Visit App Reviews

Foursquare helps me find all the best spots in new cities I visit so I can enjoy all the places I enjoy with very little research.

Starting to feel the bloat. App was much better when it was trimmed down, and there wasnt so much bloat. Now the app is just not enjoyable anymore

Unlike other apps I feel like I can actually trust the reviews here. Made by real people who arent paid elites or the restaurant owner ...

Honestly foursquare needs to up their game, searching isnt as refined or detailed, not a lot of searxh options. Maybe im used to yelp " seriously im in live with it" and i cant get over how lacking foursquare is. I hope they make some drastic changes for the better otherwise if yelp or something similar comes around im switching.

Creating lists makes it a great tool to save places for future reference. Saving your food preferences of cuisines and favorite types of food provides a more personalized experience. Only thing its lacking is more users that rate restaurants.

Constant improvements, love it. Also faster to read and more customized than Yelp. More useful, more accurate, more stuff. Plus, its local recommendations, not just TripAdvisor tourist stuff.

I miss the old four square where u could check in ;( change it back ughhjh

iLoveKickboxing is such a fun way to get in a quick yet effective workout everyday! Classes are only an hour long which makes it easy to fit into your schedule. The instructors are lively and motivating and the facility is very well maintained. 100% recommend to those looking to reach their fitness goals!

Great for finding local eateries out of town!

Id love the option to view an archive of every restaurants Ive been to (including places I didnt rate or hated). It would just be cool to see all the pins across the map.

Love using it for night life, things to do, and most importantly FOOD! Great app

Food took forever, apologies 3 times and later food finally arrived. Suspect it had also Been under the light for a while. Had to ask For water refill tho he did ask If I wanted another drink which tasted a little light in the alcohol. Ordered a pazooki it never arrived so I told him to Cancel it and he said he would take it off the ticket. Really?? Told the manager highly disappointed. She Offered to give us a courtesy card which I appreciated but declined. Simply explained she needs to fix the kitchen. Doubt we will ever go back. Abuelos is next door and we have always had excellent food and service.

Im trying to edit my businesses profile and I cant change the listed home location. I typed in mountain view Wyoming and it instead put in mills Wyoming which is 5hrs away. Really annoying and the address that I did type is not listed for people to find us. And I cant add a place. I type in all the information, press add them it thinks about it for a second the. Does nothing but stay on that page and does not add the place

Been using Foursquare since it was dodgeball back in the day. Its always been and still is today one of my favorite (and most useful) apps.

I dont know why I took so long to give this app a try, but its fantastic. Better than Yelp. From the UI to recommendations. Its just better.

I never like the updates, always like the old foursquare, swarm is totally ridiculous idea, period

Ive been using foursquare consistently since 2009, and I was among the first 40,000 users. Foursquare and swarm are now more fun and engaging than theyve ever been. Its great to see that some of my favorite features (points, leaderboard, and stickers) have returned and that they are now more compelling than ever. Im anxious to see where this journey taut Foursquare is embarking upon leads the company. With all the data that they are now gathering with "Pilgrim", passive recs should improve greatly in the coming weeks and months. Foursquare is now better than it’s ever been. I’m going to remain a loyal user of an app that has brought so much fun, joy, and adventure into my life over the years.

I have been trying to update my business listing for well over a month now with SEVERAL requests for my information to be corrected... no response or changes to the listing?? Ill stick with YELP!!
